We are a cybersecurity-first managed services provider built for small businesses in South Florida. Founded in 2022, AM3 exists because too many businesses were paying for IT support that never addressed the threats that could shut them down.
Our Story
AM3 Technology & Cybersecurity was founded in 2022 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, with one clear mission: put cybersecurity first. Too many small businesses in South Florida were relying on break-fix IT providers who only showed up after something broke, or managed services that bolted on security as an afterthought.
We built AM3 differently. Every engagement starts with our proprietary CyberSecurity Risk Assessment (CSRA) because you cannot protect what you have not evaluated. From there, we deliver managed IT, cybersecurity, Microsoft 365 administration, and strategic guidance that is grounded in real threat data, not guesswork.
Our roots are in South Florida. We understand the unique challenges businesses face here, from hurricane preparedness and disaster recovery to compliance requirements in regulated industries like mortgage, accounting, and legal services. Emilio Mejia
Owner & CEO
Emilio Mejia brings over 20 years of hands-on experience in IT and cybersecurity to every client engagement. He founded AM3 Technology & Cybersecurity in 2022 after recognizing a gap in how South Florida businesses were being served: either paying for reactive support that never prevented problems, or working with providers who treated cybersecurity as an optional add-on.
A graduate of the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program and the Cisco Networking Academy, Emilio holds a bachelor's degree and combines deep technical expertise with real-world business acumen. Before founding AM3, he spent a decade as a 50/50 partner running operations at a South Florida MSP, giving him firsthand insight into what businesses actually need from their IT provider. He understands that technology decisions are ultimately business decisions, and he built AM3 to deliver outcomes, not just tools.
Emilio is a recognized voice in the industry, having spoken at the B2B Marketing Expo and The Business Show US 2027. He is passionate about helping South Florida businesses understand that cybersecurity is not a cost center; it is the foundation of operational resilience.
